Perhaps this says something about human nature.
Google as of 6 May 2011 has 6,240,000 hits for "why it is worse" and
only 2 (!) hits for "why it isn't worse" and eight for "why it is not worse".
(I was looking for a suitable quote to head a chapter with the title "why it isn't worse", in my book.)
